I wanted an authentic experience surrounded by Costa Ricans, and this hotel delivered. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of the family. The room was clean and comfortable, with both AC and a ceiling fan. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and it was just a short walk to the city center. The breakfast was delicious and filling. it exceeded my expectations.

The rented room was dimly lit and had see-through curtains, which affected privacy. The bed was not comfortable and the box spring was dirty, although no bugs were found.

My stay at Hotel Real Alaska was a delightful experience. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. On the morning that I didn't have time for breakfast, they kindly prepared a delicious meal for me to enjoy within minutes. I truly felt like a part of their family.

Although the hotel is located about 1.7 km from the center of Liberia, Uber taxis were readily available for transportation. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Rincon de la Vieja National Park made it convenient for exploring this beautiful natural attraction at an affordable cost.
